The BRIDGE Vol 1 2020 | Rolling Out the Path

The 5^th of May was a bit of a celebration for us. We are following social distancing, so we weren’t sipping Margaritas at Cinco de Mayo parties. Instead, our celebration marked the Broker launch of the PATH, our portal for policy change. Currently, we are rolling it out with limited Auto functionality for Ontario Pembridge Brokers. We plan to incorporate more features before becoming available in other regions.

Similar to most new technology, the journey to launch the PATH had a few stops and starts (and a pandemic just as we were about to go live), but we are thrilled with the feedback that we have been receiving in our early days. Brokers are telling us that it is Easy to Access, Easy to Navigate and Follows Logical Workflows.

This isn’t surprising because front line staff from many Brokerages consulted with us to help build a tool will allow faster processing of policy changes, while providing you a real-time price to your customer. We are continuing to get feedback from Brokers who are using the PATH, and will use this feedback to guide future features,

Although we know that many Brokers would prefer not to create transactions in multiple company portals. It appears an industry-wide platform is not currently on the short-term horizon, and we needed a solution today to address the needs of our Brokers. That said, we will continue to participate in industry efforts for a one-size-fits-all connectivity solution.
